Savitz, Founder and Chairman of The Savitz Organization, is one of Philadelphia’s leading citizens, reflected by his membership on the boards of such institutions as the PA Academy of Fine Arts, the Mann Center for the Performing Arts, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, the National Liberty Museum, the National Museum of American Jewish History, and, of course, the Foreign Policy Research Institute, where, among other things, he heads the Nominations/Development Committee. Sam served in the Army Reserves as a member of the 429th Civil Affairs/Military Government unit.

Photo of Ken Pollack Ken Pollack served as the Director for Persian Gulf Affairs for the National Security Council (1999-2001) and for Near East and South Asian Affairs (1995-96), and as the CIA’s Iraq-Iran military analyst (1988-95). He is now Director of Research for the Saban Center for Middle Eastern Studies at the Brookings Institution and a regular presence on the national broadcast media.
